Job Description
SPARK is looking for a Copywriter who can contribute to both the concept and execution of brand systems, ad campaigns, and their stories. Our Copywriters elevate work throughout the creative process by weaving ideas into strategy-driven stories and refining how they are presented. By building on initial concepts with attention to detail and craft, they ensure our work is ready for the national stage.
Concept
- Explore creative solutions that are well-written and conceptually sound
Refine/Evolution
- Make the project better by building upon the initial concept and exploring new approaches
Execution
- Apply careful consideration and attention to detail to ensure files are on time, on brand and in spec
Presentation
- Frequently share ideas and opinions internally, play a supporting role in presentations
Experience
- 3+ years experience in a similar role at an in-house, brand or advertising agency
- Award-winning portfolio with Regional and National clients in a variety of media including TV, OOH, and digital and brand experiences
- Strong understanding of copywriting principles of storytelling, communication, tone/voice
- Expert file and presentation prep
- Expert knowledge of text editor programs ( Word, Pages, Keynote )
- Adobe Creative Cloud ( ID, PS ) experience a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or similar
