Our team is growing! We’re hiring a marketing coordinator to assist with developing content, growing our social media presence, and executing events. This remote, entry-level position is ideal for a highly-organized, self-starter who wants to learn and grow with a thriving, top-notch marketing automation agency.

The Role

  • Helps drive execution of the marketing plan
  • Handles all onsite event logistics, from securing venues to preparing schedules tofacilitating internal communications
  • Coordinates monthly webinars, from working with speakers to preparing event decks to writing promotional copy and a follow-up blog post
  • Writes blog posts and other miscellaneous copy as assigned
  • Manages our social media accounts, including creating engaging posts and social listening
  • Publishes blog content to our website, choosing an appropriate lead image, adding SEO, meta descriptions and improving SEO and readability scores where possible
  • Coordinates our AdWords program, working with our AdWords specialist and internal marketing manager
  • Prepares monthly web traffic reports and keyword searches
  • Manages other external advertising programs, as needed
  • Accomplishes basic tasks in Marketo and Salesforce

Qualities Of The Ideal Candidate

  • Self-starter with 1-2 years experience in a professional office environment
  • Extreme organization and ability to meet deadlines is a must!
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment
  • Solid writing skills; able to write promotional copy and blog posts
  • Knowledgable in social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and able to create engaging social media posts
  • Ability to track expenses and work within a given budget
  • Good people skills
  • Interest in learning Marketo and Salesforce
  • Fluent in English; bilingual in French is a plus
  • Design skills are a plus (note: this is not a design position)

In 3 Months

What success looks like:

You’ve taken over our webinar program completely, handling all promotions, details and running the live event solo. You’ve taken over all social media accounts and are ramping up our visibility appropriately. You’ve assisted with Adobe Summit, learning from the process to take over in 2021.

In 6 Months

You’re proactively preparing timelines for events and what’s needed and when then executing accordingly. You’re more comfortable with the Marketo Community and have developed a process for finding relevant questions, alerting our delivery team for a response, and following-up on execution. You’ve developed monthly reports on our social media and community activity and results. You’ve developed monthly web traffic reports including keyword searches, to aid our content direction. You’ve created monthly AdWords reports on our spending and results.

In 12 Months

You’re comfortable with all aspects of your role, you fluidly accomplish all tasks, and are ready to take on more. You’re making recommendations to improve our programs: social media, webinars and you are ready to take over the operational lead tracking aspects of our AdWords program. You’ve obtained your Marketo Engage Business Practitioner certification and are ready to pursue your Marketo Certified Expert certification.
